Welcome to the 2013 Pageland Watermelon Festival

We hope you are making plans to join us, July 19th and 20th, as the tradition of the Pageland Watermelon Festival continues in 2013! Come and enjoy live music and entertainment as you walk through the streets of downtown Pageland. It kicks off on Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm. There will be something for everyone in the vendor area and special events and entertainment throught out the day for the kids. The carnival will host Family night on Friday with special savings. Enjoy the music as the sun goes down on this sweet rural town.

Come see one of South Carolina’s largest parades on Saturday morning. It will provide plenty of entertainment, laughter and fun for the family. Savor the delicious variety of foods as the beautiful wares of the crafters lure you. Our children will enjoy a variety of events throughout the day at the Children’s Stage located in Moore’s Park. Don’t forget the old fashion seed spittin’ and watermelon eatin’ contests for all ages. These fun contest start up at 2 pm.

Watermelon Pageants will be held Saturday, June 22nd with divisions for adults, teens, youth and children. Having the pageants early allows the winners to enjoy the festival with us. The event will take place at the Pageland Community Center and will be an all day affair!

Talk a walk through our car and motorcycle show after the parade. Admire the awesome talents displayed at the festival rodeo each night. Gather with us to enjoy the company of friends and visitors at the end of each day, and take in the music and entertainment of live bands. Enjoy reminiscing about yesteryear at our old-fashioned festival in the heart of the Carolinas. There is something for kids of all ages from 1 to 100, so come join us for a little taste of summertime fun!
